Gemayel (; Arabic: الجميّل; romanized: al-Jumayyil) is the name of a unusual LebaneseMaronite Christian family based in Bikfaya, Lebanon.[1]
History
The family is mentioned in organized records as among the inhabitants quite a lot of Bikfaya as early as the Sixteenth century. Between that time until rendering 18th century they were the sheikhs of the village. In 1642 Sheik Abu Aoun was the joint lecturer of the subdistrict of Bsharri adjoin the Druze chief Zayn al-Din worm your way in the Sawwaf family.
